About Me

Colson-Quinn started in partnership (domestic) more than 25 years ago. Rob Quinn and Joyce Colson met at UT Law School in Austin in 1976 and married a week after law school graduation. They practiced corporate, intellectual property law and litigation in Houston for 16 years. As for their law partnership, that started in 1995 when they moved to Boulder, Colorado.

Leaving behind well-established business law practices, they chose to move to Boulder for quality of life both at home and in business. With business law experience in prominent Houston law firms, they’d seen the pitfalls of the traditional law firm model where clients were over-billed, overwhelmed and underappreciated. Realizing that their clients share their values for right relationships, respect, reasonable fees and results, Rob and Joyce choose to be unique. Colson-Quinn has created a firm dedicated to making a difference for their clients so that they can genuinely benefit from their collective experience.
